I for one am outraged that a seminary professor and World Magazine journalist has used The Nigger Word. The utterance of that word is demeaning to every African-American in this country, and it treats their struggle for freedom and equality under the law as profane. That's why I never let it escape my lips unless I know a good nigger joke.

While I am not fully comfortable with Kinism, I admit that its roots have been the norm throughout Western history. Recently I have been studying the life and thought of Abraham Kuyper. Kuyper longed for the revival of an explicitly and specifically Dutch volk. While he ultimately compromised his ideal with notions of “pluralism,” it is interesting to note that he was simultaneously interested in a thoroughly “Dutch” Dutch society. Consider the following from a leading Kuyper interpreter:
Kuyper's appeal to the conscience of the nation…has direct parallels to contemporary American conservative Christian political analysts who insist that liberty and genuine diversity can only exist by staying true to a national mythology… Though freedom of conscience requires that no one be coerced to act contrary to his or her convictions…the government acts in a self-destructive manner when, in the name of diversity and pluralism or multiculturalism, it actively promotes religious beliefs or ideologies that have as their basic premise the denial of free, public exercise.

Of course, John Bolt, a pluralist, wants to leave the door open as to which religions are part of “that nation's heritage.” Historically, it can only be reformed Christian theism that saves the day. But it is interesting, as the whole book points out, that Kuyper sought: 1) A Dutch national mythology for the sake of a 2) Unified Dutch people… Of course, the Netherlands rapidly departed from Kuyper. Kuyper's worldview could not last. He advocated both the Kingship of Christ (good) and “common-grace” (bad). Common grace won the day and now look at the Netherlands.
College professors will soon be color-coded and assessed on "cultural competency." It sure does take a lot of work and layers of bureaucracy to enforce the religion of Equality, doesn't it?
Like some other litigious pastors we've mentioned, Hank Hanegraaff is now suing left and right, as though 1 Corinthians 6 doesn't exist. But that's okay, because he's The Bible Answer Man. You can't turn left in northern Virginia without bumping into an Episcopalian. Many Episcopalians these days would rather be ruled by Negroes than fags. This is not the future of the Episcopal Church envisioned by our forebears.' This is the point at which I bore my readers by discussing theology. What follows is of interest to me, but I admit that it pales in significance to the more immediate trouble we face as a nation. Dishonest Doug Wilson linked to the audio of the examination of Steve Wilkins by his PCA presbytery. The significance of this event is that Wilkins is the only major proponent of Federal Vision theology that belongs to the organization that grew out of the old Southern Presbyterian Church. Though Wilkins is confused on race issues, he has been an asset to the South, and I have great admiration for him. He has already been condemned as a heretic by one presbytery, and it is unclear how his own presbytery or the PCA will rule.
I've believed for a long time that confusion will continue to swirl around FV theology until everyone can arrive at an understanding of how terms should be defined. If you listen to the audio, you'll find that the most common criticism is that Wilkins is confusing and uses words in a different sense or a different context than they are commonly understood. His qualification of words seldom does much good. You will witness that even very well-educated, seminary-trained men who have studied the Bible and the Westminster Confession of Faith for years have great difficulty in understanding exactly what FV theology means. I'm not sure I understand it either, but I sympathize with much of what Wilkins says, especially when he points out that the WCF calls the children of believers Christians from the womb. Baptism is how those children become members of the church, and they are made eligible for membership because of their birth.
One of the questioners surprised me by denying that baptism confers grace. He said it was his understanding that baptism unites us to the church but faith unites us to Christ. I'm glad someone showed him that even he is not in accord with the confession on that point. The WCF calls baptism a "saving grace," and the Larger Catechism refers to the "grace of baptism." Again, this can be confusing, but Wilkins defines grace as favor. It is not the same as mercy. And in that sense (three words which he is chastised for using so frequently), the reprobate do partake of grace when they belong to the church.
But here's where it gets dicey. According to Wilkins, those who fall away are granted "temporary faith" for a time, which is not the same thing as persevering faith. He even goes so far as to say that this temporary faith is real faith because no man can call Jesus Lord except by the Spirit. This leads to the reprobate experiencing a "quasi-salvation." It seems to me that he's on very shaky ground here. But consider what the Scriptures say about the reprobate denying the master who bought them, and that Israel was a redeemed people, all of whom were baptized into Moses. Wilkins himself uses arresting metaphors to prove his point, such as that an unfaithful husband cannot be both unfaithful and not a husband. There are also the parables of the branches of the grapevine and olive tree being cut off. Another example that occurred to me, though I don't know if anyone else has considered it, is the hand that is cut off for causing offense. No one could deny that the hand experienced for a time a vital union with the body, yet it was not destined to persevere. When Wilkins said that pereverance is synergistic, yet always a gift, he found agreement in the room.
But I think he was at his weakest when he argued that there is not an "invisible" church now except in the mind of God. He said the invisible church will not exist until all the elect are gathered in heaven. He was told that this contradicts the present communion of the elect.
In short, it's a very complicated matter, and it's made all the more confusing because everyone is looking to the WCF to be the final authority on how words are defined, even though the WCF does not actually define words like regeneration. It will be interesting to see whether Wilkins is officially labeled a heretic. Terms such as "temporary faith" and "quasi-salvation" are disturbing. Likewise, Wilson refers to temporal regeneration, which Mark Horne defines as different from ordinary regeneration in duration. Quite disturbing, but I would hate to see this decided as the result of miscommunication.
Dishonest Doug Wilson is lobbying against any decisions being made by the good-old-boys in smoke-filled rooms, and I agree with him. But the reason I agree with him is that I'm consistent, and he is not. As Kevin Johnson points out, Wilson loves scrutiny of everyone's actions but his own. "I remember Wilson arguing all day long about how [the RC Sproul Jr scandal] was a matter that didn't need the scrutiny of the public Christian eye and to bring it to light publicly only further scandalized the matter… More Idahoan hypocrisy at work. Plain and simple. I challenge Wilson to bring the light of day to his own affairs in Moscow and around the country as he works at Christ Church, in and among the CREC, and elsewhere before he calls others on the carpet for the very same thing." Kevin is absolutely correct that, these days, "getting a fair ecclesiastical trial is like thinking the lottery is a wise investment vehicle for your entire paycheck." He is also correct that Wilson is the poster boy for the failures of fractured Protestant denominationalism, seeing as how his so-called presbyterian church has "never handled anything like this before, and operat[es] with the sort of scant by-laws and constitution that only encourage ministerial irresponsibility and the worst sort of cronyism. The CREC cannot pretend that she is the final court of appeal on this and other matters but these things must also be handled appropriately in the public square within the context of the Church at large." Not that this is surprising when we recall that Wilson's cult-of-personality was formed by mutiny against his baptist elders. I guess the end justifies the means, huh? Ministerial irresponsibility and cronyism are never surprising among unordained and unaccountable peddlers of justice and honor. I also appreciate Johnson's reminder that the Apostle Paul exhorts the local church, not her elders, to discipline the man committing incest in 1 Cor 5. Just think of what this means.
David McCrory noticed something I hadn't: that Wilkins once affirmed that all the benefits of Christ are imputed to the baptized person, regardless of decretal status, yet now he says only some benefits are conferred. That appears to be a change for the better.
Look at all the free seminary courses offered here. They mostly look good, but here's one on Black churches. It's unintentionally funny in a few places, such as when the professor says George Whitefield is not a hero today because he supported slavery. We also learn that Blacks had secret places where they could shout, and whenever they were able they left the White churches and formed their own "emergent" churches. How racist and exclusivist. Still, we need to be forgiving because the Most Reverend Doctor King had not yet been born. Blacks "wanted to have their own pastors and their own churches and go their own way." The reason I know this must be racist is because I've been called a racist many times for desiring the same thing, and as we all know, pastors are far too logical to fall for double standards.

It seems everywhere I look or listen, I see or hear some advertisement, message, or whatever that tries to universalize bad situations. In the space of one drive home from work I saw and heard the following on billboards and radio:
“If one child is abducted, all children are abducted.”
“We were all attacked that day. Have YOU forgotten?” (Bumper-sticker referring to the 9-11 attacks.)
“He didn't call just those guys at that club “niggers”. He called all of us ‘niggers'!” (Negro caller to a local talk-radio show, referring to Michael Richards.)
“If one of us has AIDS, we all have AIDS.”
“If one of us is a victim of hate, all of us are victims of hate.”
“All of us were in that car.” (The ever-comical Al $harpton, referring to that scene in New York City in which that Negro was shot by the police the day before his wedding.)
As I said, these were spewed at me in the 25 minutes or so it takes me to drive home from work. That's one about every four minutes. Of those six, only two get any sympathy from me, and even then my sympathy is very limited. Now, we Kinists know better than to give any weight at all to such tripe. But still, the rhetorical technique is potent in the small minds of many folks who prefer snappy cliches to reality, which is most of the Negros here in Memphrica. Therefore, I say we capitalize on its effectiveness and apply it to the Duke case:
“If one of us is falsely accused, all of us are falsely accused.”
What do you think? Will it fly? Probably not, since the lying accuser is a lying Negress and the falsely accused are White males.

Your bumper sticker philosophy reminds me of two things I've learned from watching TV: Any project that takes at least three weeks is called a “journey,” and any group of people carefully selected for diversity of race, religion, and deviant sexual persuasion is called a “family” after having known each other for at least two weeks.

Regading the notion of “temporary faith”, Wilkins is in good company in that Calvin often spoke this way. Calvin cautioned against a false assurance of salvation with those in his congregation. To this end he often addressed the issue of “false faith”, “unbelieving faith” and even a “temporary faith”. It leaves me wondering who has left who? I'm like you in that there is a great deal of talking past one another in this whole thing.

That's a good point, but it shows how confusing this issue can be. Wilkins calls temporary faith a “real faith” and Calvin calls it a false faith. But even on this the FV crowd scores some points when they say that we simply don't have the power to read the roll of the elect, and the only thing of which we can be certain is the objectivity of the covenant. There is no dispute about who is baptized and who is not. But your concern that mere baptism could lead to false assurance is an important one. I just wonder if it's possible to define “temporary” in this context without having the mind of God.

I had an interesting conversation with a funeral home director recently. We were discussing various trends in the funeral industry in Oklahoma and she noted that increasing numbers of persons are turning to cremation.
I asked her how long it takes, on average, to cremate a body. She said it was about one hour. She then added, without me asking, that new technologies are being developed to improve the process, and to make it quicker, as the high temperatures (several thousand degrees) necessary to burn an average-sized body, and the need to allow the crematorium to cool down afterwards, have created the incentive to do so.
I thought I would plant some seeds in her seemingly open mind. I then asked, “Why haven't crematorium engineers studied how the Nazis did it? After all, it's said that they gassed millions of persons and cremated them day and night, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, so apparently they were able to do it faster and without the need to allow the crematorium to cool on occasion.” “That's a good question,” she answered. “I've never thought about how they were able to do that.” Then she spoke honestly (and out loud): “I don't know HOW they COULD have done that.”

As far as the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals goes, here is all one needs to know about it: the Rev. Dr. Michael Horton, megalomaniacal and simpering host of the White Horse's Ass Inn, is the polar star for this allegedly Reformed organization. I'm told by those who know him (he has some Oklahoma connections, if I recall correctly; his brother lived here at one time and perhaps still does), that Horton is actually quite left-of-center politically, as are all trendier-than-thou evangelicals who teach at allegedly “conservative,” “evangelical” and “Reformed” institutions of “higher learning.”
Horton is simply a White (and therefore more erudite and intelligent) version of Anthony Bradley at a different, but certainly no more Reformed, seminary. Remember, Westminster West had in its employ the Jew-educated Meredith Kline (Ph.D., Dropsie University) for much of his career, and therefore unleashed numerous antinomian, Law-hating pastors into the ranks of OPC, PCA and other allegedly “Reformed” churches.
The late James Boice, who was the mastermind of ACE, was an excellent communicator and exegete, and was a great gift of God to His Church. Unfortunately, he did not have a comprehensively Reformed world-and-life view. The fact that Boice promoted “men” like Horton demonstrates a real deficiency in his discernment.

I just read that Trueman link and if it were written by Abe Foxman or Morris Dees it would be no different. This character's entire worldview is not shaped by the Bible but by our state religion - anti-white hatred (i.e. Political Correctness) - but can't see it: a classic lemming. That which passes as “Christianity” is truly anti-Christ since it is so pathologically jew worshipping that its adherents are blind to their own sickness. “Christianity” has become exactly what Jewry intends for its Goyim and God help those of us who don't join in the self immolation. If Christianity during the darkest days of the corruption of Rome were as bad as today I'd be amazed. Can the Church be reformed or is another schism required?

It doesn't sound like we disagree at all. As Jesus said, any son of the devil will imitate his father. The Bible defines the word “anti-Christ” very clearly, and Jews are no different than other Unitarians in that regard, but there are at least two things that set Jews apart from other pagans, and these are why they are mentioned so often here: 1) Their success in plunging the world into the chaos of war and outlawing all criticism; and 2) The unique affliction that has swept like wildfire among Christians which has led many to believe that Christians and Jews worship the same God.
As is true of Blacks, they would never be mentioned here if not for the fact that our own people have been carried away with deranged fantasies of equality.

If what you say is true. If some phantom – known as Humanism or the Enlightenment or Liberalism or some other magic words – is our worst enemy how the hell is it fought? Whatever the plan for confronting this situation, good luck instituting it with the harmless and completely ethical people who gave us Judah Benjamin in control of things.
All the failed patriotard movements of the 20th century pursued these same ethereal foes and guess what – they never succeeded in defeating “them”. They pursued “commies” and “liberals” and “insiders” until their heads spun. That enemy was not defeated. Why? We should not be blind to our own tendency to believe self-destruction is virtuous. As I see it the only cure to the disease you mention is suicide and the ones you choose to downplay will happily give us the rope. They already have for so many others of our race who were blind.

The saying goes that victory in war is twofold: the victors get to dictate the terms of peace, and the victor's historians get to write the history. “Dictating the terms of peace” is another way of saying “controlling behavior.” “Writing the history” is self-explanatory. By these measures, the Jews are certainly the victors. With their successful foisting of hate crimes legislation upon most of Europe (and eventually America), with the threat of prison time hanging over the heads of all who dare disgree with them, with their successful take over of most formerly Christian churches in America, Jews certainly control most people's behavior. I am writing concerning Auschwitz. I live in Poland, and its very easy here - before 2WW 8% of our citzens were Jews. It is ca. 2 billion people. After 2WW there was up to 2-3 hundred thousands of them. Now: where they were gone? Where were gone billions of them from other european countries?
I am an anti-sionist (not anti-semitist) and not any premillenial crazy guy. But still, facts are facts. You are really stupid (you in USA) not to hear our historians and testimony of ordinary people who are still alive and have seen it. My grandma was in Warszawa when Germans were killing Jews. And not only Jews - over one billion of Poles (not soldiers) too. I have been to Auschwitz and its nt funny. Its not big deal to realize what was going on. Come and see. Or be quiet.

If there is proof that far more were killed, we will gladly stand corrected. The problem is that merely doubting the official statistics will get a man imprisoned, and I don't trust any “facts” that are illegal to question.
